Good morning, Today is Thursday. My day began very early. My husband has to be at work early at 6AM, so we try to run together early every weekday morning because otherwise he is asleep when I come home. I work 3pm-midnite or later as a nurse in behavioral health with geriatric patients with Alzeheimers, dementia, anxiety, psychosis, depression, etc. He woorks from 6am - around 4 or 5 ish. Thus, our weekdays are sad because we dont have much time together and the mornings are a rush. I luckily was able to wake up and do my am run with him which was a 4 mile speed play run. Thursdays are speedwork days. We tied of the workout with some core. The Hanson-Brooks plan mileage for this afternoon for me before I go to work, so around lunchtime, and David after he gets home around 6 of so, is speedwork x 7 miles. Doing a progressive run pyramid. Hope for pace something (in minutes/mile) around... Mile 1-8:30, Mile 2-8:15, Mile 3- 8:00, Mile 4-7:00, Mile 5-7:30, Mile 6-7:45, Mile 7: 7:oo Used the new Zooms this AM-love the feel of air through the mesh casing of shoe. Cool breezes through feet and toes are nice. Will use again for mday.
